We rolled out a whole load of extra invites over the last 24 hours and in doing so opened the floodgates of extra feeds getting added, this very quickly showed up a number of problems with our aggregator which had not come up before (mainly revolving around how we deal with duplicates), we worked all day today to fix the issues, we then put the site live only to find other changes had further repercussions, the end result is the site will be down for at least another 12 hours while we work on fixing the problems.

This is very disappointing for us as the new version also included all the help the team have been writing to help people get into how the system works.
